About

Why LenderReady exists

For ten years the founder sat on the lending side of a commercial credit desk, reading small business files and recommending them for approval. Most of the files that did not move were not weak businesses. They were incomplete files, and nobody told the owner which part.

What was wrong with the old LenderReady

The first version of this site tried to serve everyone: startups needing a business plan, operating businesses needing a lending file, owners who had been declined, and anyone who searched for a loan checklist. It sold an AI-written business plan, an AI-assembled application file, a checklist, and for a while a human review. It was not profitable, and the reason was not mysterious: almost nobody arrived, and the people who did could not tell which of five things was for them.

This version does one job for one kind of business. Canadian owner-operated companies, mostly trades and home services, preparing to ask for roughly $50,000 to $500,000 for a defined project. It helps them organize and stress-test the file before the meeting. It does not lend, broker, or decide.

What the credential is, and is not

Ten years reading commercial credit files and recommending them, at a Canadian financial institution. Not approving them. That decision belonged to others, and it still does. No confidential material, underwriting model, customer information, or proprietary process from any employer is used here. What is used is the order of reading, the questions that always get asked, and the plain-language explanation of what each number means to the person across the desk.

Where the money comes from

Customers pay fixed fees for fixed deliverables. That is the whole model. LenderReady has no relationship with any lender, takes no referral fees or commissions, charges no success fees, and does not know or care which lender you choose. That independence is the reason the diagnostic can say "book the meeting, you do not need anything else" when that is true.

A NeuroLabs product

LenderReady is built and operated by NeuroLabs, a web development studio in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The site is also a working demonstration of the studio's approach: a documented, deterministic scoring engine, a compact design system, accessible forms, honest analytics, and a checkout and delivery workflow small enough to be trusted. NeuroLabs separately offers website and digital-growth work; it is a different engagement with its own scope, and a better website is never presented as a way to improve a lender's decision.

What we will not do

  • Promise approval, a rate, a term, an amount, or a timeline
  • Imply affiliation with any bank, credit union, BDC, or government program
  • Call any of this credit repair, or offer legal, tax, or accounting conclusions
  • Invent testimonials, statistics, or countdown urgency
  • Collect more information than the work requires
