The questions people ask before they start.
What this is
Is LenderReady a lender or a broker?
No. LenderReady prepares and explains financing files. It does not lend, arrange credit, take commissions from lenders, or contact a lender on your behalf. You choose the lender and make the submission. The decision, the terms, and the timing are the lender's alone.
Does the readiness score tell me whether I will be approved?
No. It measures how organized the file is, using rules you can read on the how it works page. Two lenders can read the same file differently, and the score never presents itself as a probability. It tells you what to do next, in what order.
Who is this for?
Canadian owner-operated businesses, mostly trades and home services, with at least one full year of operations, preparing to ask for roughly $50,000 to $500,000 for a defined growth project. Not a fit: pre-revenue startups, consumer credit, mortgages, or businesses outside Canada.
Is this credit repair?
No. LenderReady does not touch your credit report, negotiate with creditors, or make representations to anyone. If your personal credit is the issue, the diagnostic will say so plainly and suggest what a lender will want to see about it.
Is the diagnostic written by AI?
No. The free readiness check is a fixed set of rules running in your browser. The File Diagnostic is read and written by a person. Software is used for the arithmetic and the document handling, not for the judgement.
The File Diagnostic
What does it cost and how long does it take?
$149 CAD plus applicable tax. Delivered within five business days of a complete intake. One written round of questions is open for ten days after delivery. Everything included and excluded.
What if I do not have all the documents?
Upload what you have. Naming what is missing, and why it matters, is a large part of the diagnostic. If a document is so central that the review cannot proceed without it, you will get one email saying exactly what is needed and the clock pauses.
Can I get a refund?
Full refund any time before your intake is submitted. Once a reviewer has opened the file, the time is spent and the fee is final. If the diagnostic is not delivered within ten business days of a complete intake, you are refunded in full. Refund policy.
What comes after the diagnostic?
Sometimes nothing: the recommendation is to book the meeting. Otherwise the diagnostic names the one service that fits, such as the 13-week cash-flow model or the presentation package, and says why. Nothing is sold cold. Services.
Should my accountant be involved?
Yes, where the diagnostic says so. It will tell you which specific questions to take to your accountant, such as preparing year-end statements or confirming remittance status. It does not replace them and gives no accounting or tax conclusions.
Your information
Who sees my documents?
The reviewer working on your file, and nobody else. No lender, broker, or third party. Files sit in a private bucket, encrypted in transit and at rest, and are deleted 180 days after the order or sooner on request. Security and privacy.
What should I never upload?
Account numbers beyond what appears on a statement, social insurance numbers, full tax returns (notices of assessment are enough), passwords, or online banking access. LenderReady never asks for these.
I have an account from the old LenderReady. What happened to it?
The Application File product is no longer sold, but existing accounts can still sign in at the sign-in page to reach their saved work. The sign-in link is in the footer of every page.
